Zest

By all accounts diners are never disappointed by "the beautiful view"

Housed in the elegant boutique Hotel Juliani, on the curve of Spinola Bay,  Zest’s East meets West Asian fusion ethos is one of the finest on the island. After ascending the short stone flight of stairs, pause a while on the verandah to admire the twinkling lights below. Take time to order a pre-dinner drink from the bar with a choice of beverages as comprehensive as they are enticing. In the lounge area, accents of bright fuchsia juxtaposed besides stylish black armchairs placed against a backdrop of an avant-garde grey wall colouring, create a stylish, contemporary feel.
Sharing dishes of signature platters featuring favourite items including chicken or beef satay, crispy duck rolls and dim sum are beautifully presented and thoughtfully explained. The tom kha gai soup with coconut, chicken and lemongrass  is certain to delight. Feast with your eyes as enticing fare is rolled to perfection at the sushi bar. The crazy sake California roll featuring crab, avocado, salmon and cucumber is a modern take on this classic and superb. Zest’s signature beef rendang is mildly spiced beef with chilies, aromatic roots and spices, slowly simmered in coconut milk and served with jasmine rice and a sure fire hit. Find a fitting end to your culinary journey with the dark chocolate lime fondant with chocolate and caramel ice cream. Zest’s holistic approach ensures an alluring culinary experience that begs repeating.
