Zeri’s Restaurant enjoys a lively atmosphere, with jazzy music playing in the background, interspersed with the hum of conversation of satisfied patrons. A small and cosy restaurant, its tables are suitably distanced to make it ideal for business meals or for a romantic dinner. The décor is in muted browns, contrasting with the colourful paintings and Maltese blown glass creations, all available for sale. The restaurant overlooks the Portomaso Marina – spectacular irrespective of time of day, season or weather. Staff take care of menus, food, wine, dessert, cutlery change, queries and requests, efficiently and discreetly.
Zeri’s specialises in fish and seafood, complemented with an extensive wine list. Try the local cheese and dried fig tart, or the black mussels in bianco as a starter, followed by the tender fillets of lamb with curried mango chutney and mint and yoghurt sauce, accompanied by tasty roast potatoes and crunchy mixed grilled vegetables. Alternatively, pick from a selection of freshly caught fish and have it prepared oven baked, al sale, al cartoccio or simply flat grilled. You may also choose from a selection of delicious and juicy cuts such as the beef tenderloin or the USDA rib-eye.
