Latini restaurant

The food is "mouthwatering", with a choice of "specials to choose from on top of the regular menu".

Latini was a Marsalforn favourite for ten years before relocating to Xaghra in 2016. The family business has chef Brian Zammit in the kitchen, wife Victoria leading the front of house, and mother Rita producing in-house desserts. The restaurant has just three tables inside, with others placed on the village square. All enjoy a picturesque view of the parish church, with parasols in summer and a tent with heat lamps in winter. The relaxed atmosphere attracts families, groups, and couples. Staff are friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. outstanding online reviews keep Latini busy with tourists as well as locals, so advance booking is recommended.

The cuisine is Mediterranean, featuring local fish and pasta dishes executed with a fresh, light touch. The extended menu of daily specials draws influences from a much wider range of cuisines, which keeps diners coming back for more. Brian enjoys playing with flavours, pairing mango, berry and apple sauces with his mix grill, or plum and apple sauce with duck and rabbit livers. Another touch to make your meal feel special are the amuse-bouche and sorbet palate cleanser. Portion sizes are more than generous, so make sure you save some space for the delicious Chocolate Brownie!
