It is a great spot for a lunch, dinner, weekend brunch or simply pop in for a happy hour drink from their respectable cocktail list to have with your delicious ‘bar bite’. Staff is vibrant, engaging and extremely knowledgeable about guiding you towards the perfect selection.
Head Chef Justin Schieda’s menu brings together innovative interpretations of sharing plates with a variety of culinary influences, ingredients and imaginative cooking techniques. The portions are well-presented and formulated to infuse your gastronomic palate. The concept appeals to people who want to celebrate complementing influences of cuisine in one sitting. It’s a one of a kind social experience where patrons can expect to taste a variety of dishes to share. Your selection should include a couple of fresh Gillardeau oysters, then move onto the deep fried crumbed goat’s cheese, sprinkled with chopped pistachio and drizzled with honey; tender beef flank with beer battered onion rings, cider pickled cabbage and Asian chimichurri. Tuck into the Korean wraps (their most popular item: 24hr slow cooked pork belly, kimchi, crispy lettuce wraps, in-house pickled vegetables and a soy/maple dipping sauce). Finish off with a scoop of homemade deconstructed Pavlova. The wine list is impressive with a superior selection of international wines as well as a few select local numbers that definitely cut the mustard. Promotional hours for drinks include Stupid hour from 4pm to 5pm followed by happy hour from 5pm to 6pm.
