The Chef’s Table sits at the edge of Buġibba’s lively pub and restaurant hub. It is run by Chef Patron Alain and his partner Noemi, whose dedication and expertise have made this restaurant a well-loved gem amongst its patrons. The decor is simple and unpretentious. Indoor seating is comfy, while the outdoor tables are perfect for savouring a Maltese summer night. There’s also a patio that enjoys a mild breeze during the moderate seasons.
The motto at The Chef’s Table is Cooked with love… served with a smile, and the small, tight-knit team working with Alain and Noemi have taken these words very much to heart. Staff are welcoming and accommodating. They are well-prepared and knowledgeable about every item on the menu and will happily take the time to shed light over the tiniest detail. The menu is varied and caters even for vegetarians and vegans. Portions are just the right size, allowing you to enjoy a complete meal with dessert and leave the table feeling comfortable. The fresh scallops with caramelised cauliflower make for a delicate and tasty start to the meal. Follow it up with a fantastic dish of filleted grouper poached in its own broth, or the tender pork belly exploding with succulent juices. All mains are accompanied by roasted potatoes or fries, and fresh, seasonal vegetables prepared ‘al dente’ and with an Asian twist. The Chef’s Table definitely deserves its accolades.
