Munchies at Għadira Bay continues to be fully booked almost every weekend at lunchtime and every evening even during the week. Munchies is perched right over the sea; when sitting at the tables up next to the large windows in winter you can admire the sea spray splashing in the air while enjoying your meal in the cosy surroundings augmented by the cozy fireplace. In summer you can relish the cool sea breeze. The décor is modern with white walls, parquet flooring, dim lights and candles on each table. There is a turfed outdoor dining area and a separate restaurant downstairs complete with its own open plan kitchen.
Munchies has a vast and varied menu plus weekend specials all complimented with assorted wines and cocktails. For starters, try the calamari fritti and for main course the prime cut of angus rib-eye steak will be cooked to your specifications or try the lamb rump. Or for something a little more casual have a famous chef’s burger topped with their chef’s special onion marinade and served with salad and fries. Fresh fish and pizza are also included. For dessert you must try their chocolate fondant. All dishes are stunningly plated on large colourful crockery.
