Manouche is an artisanal craft bakery specialising in French baked goods. Situated in Spinola Park, a newly opened shopping mall in the heart of St Julian’s, the wine coloured door welcomes its visitors to a Parisian style cafe where a full view of the in-house bakery and its bounty may be enjoyed. Manouche boasts an indoor seating area where the sweet aromas of chocolate, caramel and freshly brewed coffee fill the room. Their outdoor area features chic wicker chairs akin to the table layout one would find in Paris. Manouche is dog friendly and known for its exceptional service. Famous for its delicately crafted sweets, such as the dark chocolate and salted caramel tart, Manouche also shines in the savoury quarters.
The Manouche menu is divided into two; the Bakery and the Bistro. The Bakery Menu is intended to cater for the busy lunch schedule of the local businesses where traditional ‘Croque Madame’, binge worthy ‘Gallette du Breton’ and their crowd pleasing burger and ‘frites’ can be enjoyed. The Bistro Menu appeals to fine diners with a hankering for ‘Moules Marinière’ or an equally mouthwatering steak and ‘frites’. Their wine menu is never ending; with crisp Chablis, bold Cahors as well as sparkling wines and champagnes. The newly launched Charcuterie concept allows guests to enjoy select cheeses with a glass of their favourite wine and a loaf of the in-house baguettes, freshly baked daily. Also new to the Manouche concept- Sunday Roasts with an additional French flair.
