Le Bistro is nestled in the far corner of the lobby of the five-star Radisson hotel in St Julians. The decor is fresh and clean; classic flare with a relaxed and quirky twist. From the oversized rural motif wallpaper to the lavish chandelier and hanging brass kitchen utensils the concept of ‘farm to fork’ is clearly visible. Soft lighting sets the mood whilst hessian table runners add to the comfortable atmosphere. A brass polished bar stocks good quality, unpretentious wines; perfect for the smart-casual crowd who frequent this delightful eatery.
Le Bistro’s dishes are designed to combine seasonal ingredients and dynamic flavours fusing them together by talented chefs and served by dedicated and friendly staff. Try their local flat bread (hbejza) with garlic butter, melted cheese and fresh thyme or the foie gras and rabbit liver parfait with pomegranate gel, pickled mustard seeds and toasted Maltese bread. The Mediterranean chicken melt features free range grilled chicken breast, melted mozzarella, olives, tomatoes, fresh basil and pesto and is a hearty main course. Top it off with their white and dark chocolate mousse with a flourless sponge.
