L’Artiglio restaurant is situated within La Falconerie Boutique Hotel, opposite the French Embassy in the heart of Valletta. In keeping with the Hotel’s charming simplistic contemporary design, L’Artiglio boasts an atmosphere of serene charm and relaxation. On entering the restaurant one finds a fully stocked bar offering pre-dinner drinks and cocktails. The bar leads on to an elongated dining room with comfortable modern wooden chairs, plush bench seating, subdued soffit lighting and soft piped music all enticing you to a gourmet experience that will draw you back again and again.
The food preparation is under the control of Head Chef Janine, who can be seen together with her team in the open kitchen, bounding with energy and enthusiasm as she prepares and puts the final creative touches to her classic cuisine. The menu changes daily to ensure the freshest of local produce and offers a variety of dishes from starters such as baked Camembert served with fig jam and toasted Maltese bread, lampuki pie served on a lemon and thyme veloute, pulpetti and spaghetti octopus. Mains, such as slow-cooked beef cheeks, hoisin Barbary duck breast, honey and soy glazed lamb rump and pan seared calamari delight. Finally, a selection of sumptuous deserts is also available. To complement your choice of cuisine, the wine lists offers a vast range of fine wines, including new world wine, Maltese wine, Prosecco and Champagne.
