L’Artiglio restaurant is situated within La Falconerie Boutique Hotel, opposite the French Embassy in the heart of Valletta. On entering the restaurant one finds a fully stocked bar offering pre-dinner drinks and cocktails. Head Chef Janine Camilleri is a masterful supervisor and together with her team, bound with energy and enthusiasm as they prepare and put the final touches to her classic cuisine. The menu is small and changes daily to ensure the freshest of local produce and offers a variety of dishes. A sample menu may typically include roast red pepper and tomato soup served with spicy croutons, fresh sea bass tartare with horseradish and wakame, spaghetti with braised local rabbit served on a pea cream with parmesan shavings, risotto with spinach and poached egg, crispy hamhock and pecorino, seafood meze red prawns, shellfish and octopus tossed with cherry tomatoes, garlic and chilli and roast lamb neck ratatouille with hummus and sesame tuile.
