Café del Mar is a stylish, lido restaurant, lively and busy in summer, peaceful and relaxed in winter. The dining tables are strategically placed all along the large glass windows so that patrons may enjoy the spectacular sea views. Their motto of chill, dine and dance is evident. The environment is crisp, clean and white contrasting superbly with the bustling, open kitchen.
Café del Mar has a separate lunch and dinner menu with slight variations and additions. Both include salads, pizza, pasta and burgers with a lovely selection of starters and mains. Start with the peppered crusted beef tenderloin carpaccio or homemade salmon gravalax or share an antipasto platter platter. The tempura fried cod fillets with pea puree, grilled baby asparagus, leeks, fish and kikkoman soy jus is yummy or the grilled veal rib eye cutlet with thyme pangrattato, red onion, fior di latte mozzarella, rucola and basil is fresh and colourful. Tasty cuts of beef are also available from the grill as well as certified angus beef burgers with a selection of toppings. Grills are served with tossed salad and straight cut chips.
