Bert’s Kitchen is great for casual dining. Chunky wooden tables with benches and chairs offer a relaxed and modern pub ‘beer garden’ style atmosphere both inside and outside on their terrace. A huge selection of Belgian, local and international lagers, stouts and ales complement a focused and provocative food menu. If you didn’t already know, beer is a feature in this venue and is also included in several of their gravies and sauces.
Take advantage of the Meet Meal for €30 per person which includes free flowing beer and wine or mix and match your preferences. It’s also a great spot for lunch during office hours and their menu of salads and lighter dishes reflect this for their nearby clientele. There’s a great selection of Bar Bites perfect for a drink and nibble after work or try one of their starters including the pork steamed buns or grilled cauliflower if you’re up for a full blown dinner. The half chicken and chips is great value for money as is their specialty slow smoked ribs. Pair either with a sour Monk’s Café beer and you’ve go a great combo. Pasta dishes and a fantastic BK super steak shouldn’t be overlooked either. Grills are cooked in a flaming wood-burning oven garnering amazing flavours. Puddings are carefully structured and the banana and peanut pudding is no exception. The open kitchen provides a glimpse of a focused brigade of professionals doing a fantastic job.
