A seasonal à la carte menu and a daily specials board offer antipasti, pasta, risotto, meat and fish with an emphasis on authentic Maltese flavours. Try the antipasto imħawwar la Maltija (mixed platter of Maltese delicacies to share including grilled sausage, fresh ġbejna, frajjeg tat-tarja, fried ravioli, mini ricotta and pea pies, grilled vegetables, sundried tomatoes and pickled onions, complimented with tomato paste and crusty bread). Mains include pulpetti tal-fenek fil-Hopleaf (seasoned rabbit mince with garlic, lemon zest, pine nuts and mixed spice, shallow fried with sliced onions, marrow fat peas and pale ale beer) and vitello ai funghi (milk fed veal steak, sliced and served on creamed mushrooms, truffle infused oil and balsamic pearls). Finally, a dessert that keeps the regulars coming back is the mqaret (sweet pastry stuffed with dates). The wine list presents the best of Maltese, along with a good European and new world selection. Craft-beers and a fully stocked bar are available.
