The food is awesome. Starters of prawn or asparagus risotto, steak tartare or pan-seared foie gras with Wagyu meatballs, served with caramelized onions and fig, really tempt. But the meaty Scottish scallops in coconut are a definite must. Main courses include plenty of meat and fish dishes. Fresh lobster poached in garlic butter with prawns, wine and garlic, or a classic Beef Wellington (chef Maria’s signature dish) coated in a mushrooms and wrapped in Parma ham, baked to order and exquisitely garnished. Side dishes of asparagus, truffle mash and sweet potato fries complement any dish. Hand-crafted desserts are extraordinary.
