Acqua Blu is a newly refurbished restaurant that is located at the end of the promenade of one of the beautiful three cities, Senglea. This spectacular venue was recently taken over by the experienced chef patron Matteo Cardona together with Brenda Bartolo who oversees and co-ordinates front of house. They are already well-established from their previous restaurant Young Falcons in Floriana.
At Acqua Blu one can enjoy an exquisite lunch or dinner with a breath-taking view of the Grand Harbour and Vittoriosa opposite.
Aqua Blu specializes in fresh fish using the freshest catch of the day by local fisherman. Seafood dishes and pasta are included on a varied menu which has a number of signature dishes which Matteo has created, such as Gnocchi di Patata viola con crema di Salmone, AcquaBlu antipasto with five varieties of fish daily prepared, Misto di pesce – a selection of assorted shellfish, local prawns, octopus and fresh local fish followed by a small selection of meat and poultry.
