Which are Malta's Dog Friendly Restaurants? Help us find out!

Having a dog is a little bit like having a child in the sense that whenever you decide to leave the house you have to account for man’s best friend.

Of course, if you can bring your buddy along when you venture out, well then all the better.

With this in mind we are compiling a list of restaurants that welcome your four-legged friends.

While they’re all dog friendly locales, if you have a large dog or if you would like to stay indoors it’s always good to call ahead and make sure. Mostly, they welcome them in outdoor areas.

If you know of any dog friendly restaurants with a scrumptious menu, let us know.

Here are the top 12 Pet Friendly Restaurants as rated by diners in our annual Survey 2019 spread nicely all over Malta:

Tal-Familja Restaurant
The Boathouse Restaurant, Xlendi
Hammett’s Gastro Bar
Trattoria AD 1530
Ristorante La Vela
La Buona Trattoria del Nonno

Hey, this is an awesome initiative!!! Thanks for making this list. My fav places below out of the list you published:

Cleland & Souchet is St Julian’s (will bring your dog a bowl of water as well)
HUSH (inside and outside), Buffalo Bill’s (outside) in St Julian’s Portomasso
Cork’s bar in Ballutta Bay (outside on the terrace)
Best Asian restaurant – Kuya (inside courtyard) in St Julain’s
