Adesso Restaurant

By all accounts "one of the city's best restaurants" serving "mouth watering dishes with fresh, seasonal ingredients"

At Adesso (“now” in Italian), everything whispers, “relax, stay here, slow down”. Here, the handless clocks invite you to get absorbed in the moment and enjoy a fantastic culinary experience at the hands of multi-award winning chef Victor Borg and his team of professionals. Adesso strikes an exquisite balance between casual and elegant. The decor is a visually appealing mixture of contemporary and antique. A grandfather clock stands by the bar with a dignified air, like a butler standing to attention to cater for your every need. Staff are friendly but never intrusive.

The menu comprises a mixture of Victor’s signature dishes as well as some of his latest creations.  Ravioli with porchini mushrooms, brown butter and sage or the acquerello risotto with slow cooked octopus and chorizo are two delightful starters that will compete for your attention. For mains, try their signature steak and chips of black angus ribeye or pan fried escalope of milk fed veal with lemon and thyme sauce , demonstrations of Victor’s technical prowess as a chef.  Desserts, such as Victor’s signature V.B. baked and glazed white chocolate cheesecake and strawberry sorbet and the Adesso tiramisu will kiss you a sweet farewell until next time.
